Midreshet Africa – School for Jewish studies is Almond Rod’s branch dealing directly with Jewish Studies, Hebrew and the experience of Jewish life. We operate weekly online classes, regular Shabbat encounters in Johannesburg and Shabbaton seminar few times a year on various locations. 

The Judaism we teach at Midreshset Africa is lively, up to date, accessible, pluralistic, abundant and attentive. It is independent (non-denominational) and combines profound connection to ancient tradition with out relinquishing innovation and creativity.
